Our Business began in 2004 with family parties and community functions in North Longford and gradually, with the support of our loyal staff and family, it has grown into a full-service company, servicing the Midlands and beyond.
Our Story
Lunches 4 School have been providing lunches/dinners and breakfast club snacks to schools in Longford and Leitrim since 2004. We cater to both Primary and Secondary school and have menus that are age appropriate as the children grow.
We provide bespoke menus that ensures there are choices to suite all taste buds and each meal provides all the necessary nutritional value in a tasty healthy meal -hot or cold direct to your school.
We used locally sourced ingredients and prepare each meal or sandwich and snack in our kitchen in North Longford fresh each morning in our state-of-the-art HSE approved kitchen.
We look forward to providing our meals to your school.
Meet The Team
Eilish McLoughlin
"I graduated from Fermanagh College of Further Education in 1986 with a City and Guilds qualification in Culinary Arts. In the 80s it was common practice for young graduates to emigrate in search of work and new experiences so I headed off to London. I lived there for 5 years, working in and studying the food industry and gaining valuable experience. I loved London and still return to visit whenever I can, but my heart was at home in Co. Longford.
My culinary skills were well developed by 1999 so I embarked on a course of study in Catering Management and 2001 I also completed a NVQ Level 3 Patisserie and Confectionery course under the guidance of Neven Maguire.
In 2004, I built a HSE certified kitchen and started up my outdoor & events company called Dial a Chef Catering Ltd. Over the past 20 years, it has grown steadily and is now a key employer in the North Longford area."
